MeshGuard

Active Development Bitcoin Infrastructure · Distributed Systems · DevSecOps

Project Overview

MeshGuard is an open-source coordination platform for resilient Bitcoin infrastructure. It focuses on deterministic operational workflows, infrastructure coordination, and recoverable execution across heterogeneous Bitcoin environments while remaining infrastructure agnostic.

Engineering Challenge

Modern Bitcoin infrastructure often relies on independent services operating across multiple environments. MeshGuard explores how deterministic coordination, recoverable execution, and operational consistency can improve infrastructure resilience without coupling applications to specific implementations.

Architecture Overview

MeshGuard adopts a specification-first engineering approach centred on deterministic coordination, event-oriented workflows, and infrastructure-independent execution. The platform is designed to support operational coordination across Bitcoin infrastructure while maintaining clear separation between coordination logic and infrastructure integrations.

Technical Architecture Available in Project Specifications

Current Progress

  • Completed technical whitepaper and engineering specifications
  • Implemented the MeshGuard Core coordination engine
  • Building infrastructure driver framework and runtime abstractions

Current Focus

Developing production-ready infrastructure drivers beginning with Bitcoin Core, validating deterministic coordination against real infrastructure, and expanding the platform through rigorous engineering, testing, and documentation.

Roadmap

  • Bitcoin Core Driver
  • Deterministic Regtest Validation
  • Lightning Driver Integrations
  • Production Hardening & Security Review
