Project Overview

WailsDeck is a research initiative exploring developer-owned infrastructure and distributed application runtimes. The project investigates how modern deployment workflows can be reimagined by treating infrastructure as resources developers already own, rather than services they must always rent.

Engineering Challenge

Investigating whether application deployment can become infrastructure-independent by reducing operational complexity while enabling developers to orchestrate workloads across their own computing resources.

Architecture Overview

Research focuses on distributed runtime orchestration, developer-owned infrastructure, deployment abstraction, and workload scheduling. Current work is centered on defining architectural principles rather than implementation details, with the underlying system design remaining under active research.
